OBR Distinguished Doctoral Research Fellowship in
Computer Science and Engineering
Applications are
sought for a specially funded Ohio Board of Regents Distinguished Doctoral
Research Assistantship in Computer Science and Engineering toward a Ph.D.
starting September 1, 2000. The assistantship is for $24,000 plus
tuition, per calendar year. This assistantship is guaranteed for two years
based on satisfactory performance but would not be extended beyond a third
year. It requires halftime research work of twenty hours per week.
Applicants not selected for the Distinguished Assistantship will be
considered for other Scholarships. To be considered for the assistantship
or fellowship the candidate must be highly qualified, for the doctoral
program in our Department of Electrical & Computer Engineering and
Computer Science, and be a U.S. citizen. Applications are due every year before March
15 and the results are announced before May 1 for a starting
date of September.
