Association for Computing Machinery - ACM (National Website)
ACM, the Association for Computing Machinery, is an international scientific and educational organization dedicated to advancing the arts, sciences, and applications of information technology. With a world-wide membership of 80,000, ACM functions as a locus for computing professionals and students working in the various fields of Information Technology.

CS Graduate Student Association
The purpose of GSA of CS is to 1) Serve as a liaison with the university administration through graduate students assembly. 2) Encourage unity and good communication within the organization by implementation of organizational meetings, social activities, seminars etc. 3) Encourage participation of members in campus and community activities by posting and/or distribution of announcements regarding such opportunities.


Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers - IEEE
The Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) is the world's largest technical professional society. Founded in 1884 by a handful of practitioners of the new electrical engineering discipline, today's Institute is comprised of more than 320,000 members who conduct and participate in its activities in 152 countries. The men and women of the IEEE are the technical and scientific professionals making the revolutionary engineering advances which are reshaping our world today.


National Society of Black Engineers - NSBE
The National Society of Black Engineers, as a national student and professional based organization, does hereby dedicate itself to the development of intensive programs for increasing Black and other ethnic minority participation in the field of engineering and engineering technology. These programs will be initiated both within and outside the university community and will serve to strengthen relations between professional industry and the black community. Members of this organization are encouraged to join and participate in their individual professional societies. This organization will endeavor to provide general counseling to all members.


Society of Women Engineers
The Society of Women Engineers stimulates women to achieve full potential in careers as engineers and leaders; expands the image of the engineering profession as a positive force in improving the quality of life; and demonstrates the value of diversity.
