Course Requirements
For the Ph.D. degree, a minimum of 90 graduate quarter credits beyond the M.S. degree (135 quarter credits beyond the B.S. degree for Direct Route to the Ph.D.) including 45 credits for doctoral dissertation research must be completed. At least 15 credit hours of classroom coursework at 700 or higher level must be completed from the course categories marked as Primary. Courses from Optional categories may be done without written consent of the advisor but courses from other categories need advisor's written consent to be placed in student's file.
