Graduate

The Department of Computer Science (CS) offers a graduate degree program leading to the Master of Science (MS) in Computer Science.  It offers the Doctor of Philosophy as a Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering.  The Department's graduate studies and research program are organized along the lines of faculty interests and expertise.  The faculty members are grouped together in interrelated but distinct research areas.  This structure allows the critical mass necessary to facilitate innovative research efforts. The Graduate program, providing a balance between the formal classroom instruction and research, is tailored to the student's professional goals.

The graduate research and education programs are well funded by internal and external research resources.  This provides excellent opportunities to work on exciting and challenging projects.

The rules and regulations which govern the graduate program can be found in the Graduate Student Handbook (PDF Format) of the Department of CS.
