We planned a get-together for all students in our department (CS & ECE) who took their Doctoral Qualifiers in October 2008. The purpose of the meeting was for the students to get to know each other and to help each other out with the preparation (by sharing DQE materials, solving problems in groups, etc).
Please send us any DQE materials that you may have to share with others.
The meeting was held on Friday, Aug 29, at 2PM in the 850D Baldwin classroom inside the Engineering Library.
