This website has been prepared by CS GSA committee members to assist the graduate students of the Computer Science Department in a variety of ways. The current CS GSA committee meets every other Thursday, usually at the 850B Group Study Room in the Engineering Library from 3:00 - 4:00 PM. The meetings are open to all members. DQE Support Group Meeting - 8/29/08We have planned a get-together for all students in our department (CS & ECE) who are taking their Doctoral Qualifiers this October. The purpose of the meeting is to get to know each other and to help each other out with the preparation (by sharing DQE materials, solving problems in groups, etc). Please bring any DQE materials that you may have to share with others. The meeting is scheduled for this Friday, Aug 29, at 2PM in the 850D Baldwin classroom inside the Engineering Library. The meeting could also be very short depending on how many people show up. So, please be there on time. Let us know in case of a time-conflict or if you have any questions. |
